My background is a bit of an unusual mix. I started in construction, which gave me a real appreciation for what goes into a home and what it takes to bring one back to life. From there I moved into financial services, where I spent over a decade building financial plans for families — retirement, life insurance, college savings, and debt management, that kind of thing. That work taught me a lot about trust and about what it means to guide someone through a major decision the right way.

After that I worked my way up to ultimately running the investment/"off market" side of a real estate brokerage, and that’s where it all came together for me. I decided I wanted to build something of my own — something local, where I could actually stand behind the work and the people doing it.

Around that same time I reconnected with Sam, an old friend who happened to be thinking about the same thing. We had the same mindset about how to treat people and what kind of company we wanted to run, so we just went for it.

That’s basically how Local Boys got started. We’re not a big corporation — we’re two local guys who show up when we say we will, keep it real with you about what your home is worth, and try to make the whole process as painless as possible. If you reach out, you’re getting me or Sam, not a call center.

 

I got into real estate because I genuinely love helping people find solutions — especially when they’re in a tough spot. My background is in strategy and operations, but what drives me is the relationship side: listening carefully, being honest about what we can offer, and making sure every homeowner we work with feels respected throughout the process.

Family keeps me grounded. I’m a husband and new dad, and that perspective makes me take this work seriously — I know what it means when someone’s home is on the line.

When I’m not working deals, you’ll find me at church or with family. I believe in leading with integrity, and I try to bring that into every conversation.
